If you encounter issues while customizing your Tumblr theme HTML, you can visit https://www.tumblr.com/themes/recover to find recent backups of your theme code. This allows you to easily revert to your last working version.
Note that once you start modifying the theme HTML, Tumblr will stop automatically updating your theme with new features and improvements. To update to the latest version or reset your theme, go to the Edit Theme page, open the Browse Themes menu, find your theme, and click Use. This will restore the latest version and discard any custom changes you’ve made.
